Who we are
NeoLabs Inc. (“NeoLabs”, “we”) is a digital agency based in Montréal, Québec. Our website address is https://neolabs.ca. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).
Person in charge of the protection of personal information
Nzenga Edjidjimo, President, is responsible for the protection of personal information at NeoLabs. You can reach this person at nzenga@neolabs.ca or (514) 583-0052 for any question, access or correction request, or complaint.
Information we collect
Information you provide: when you fill out our contact form or chat with our assistant, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company and the details of your request.
Information collected automatically, only with your consent: anonymous audience measurement data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location) through Google Analytics 4, and advertising conversion data. These tools are disabled by default and only activated if you accept them in the cookie banner.
Why we use it
Contact form submissions are delivered to our team by email and to our AI outreach agents, which help prepare a personalized first reply and follow-up. A member of our team supervises these exchanges, and you can ask at any time to deal only with a human.
To respond to your requests and prepare quotes; to provide and improve our services; to measure website performance (with consent); and to meet our legal obligations. We never sell your personal information.
Cookies and consent
Essential cookies are required for the site to work. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set after you opt in. You can change your choices at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. We implement Google Consent Mode V2 with all storage denied by default.
AI assistant
Our website assistant is an artificial intelligence system, not a human. Conversations may be processed by our automation provider to answer your question. Please do not share sensitive information in the chat.
Sharing and transfers outside Québec
We use trusted service providers (hosting, email (Google Workspace), analytics, automation and AI) that may store information outside Québec. Before any such transfer, we assess the privacy impact and require contractual protections equivalent to those of Québec law.
Retention
Contact requests are kept for up to 3 years after our last exchange, then destroyed or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing contract.
Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction or deletion, withdraw your consent, request de-indexation, and ask for your information in a structured technological format (portability). You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).
Security and incidents
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls, updates). Any confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury will be reported to the Commission and to affected individuals, as required by law.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
